S'no'W Games this Week!

Bright for some Saturday, wet on Sunday
A mixed weekend ahead, with a weak ridge of high pressure building on Saturday, followed by a developing area of low pressure pushing fronts eastwards on Sunday.
For many areas it will be a cloud and damp morning on Saturday, especially in northern England and Scotland. I think that this rain should clear, although these areas always seeing a fair amount of cloud through the day.
The cloud through central and southern parts of England should break in the morning too, probably bringing a fair afternoon on Saturday, although isolated showers forming in the east.
Much brighter weather in the west of Wales and Ireland with good spells of sunshine to come here. Staying dry in these places during the day.
It’s a different kettle of fish through Sunday. Fronts sweep in from the west bringing rain. That rain heavy at times over western facing coasts and hills, the rain through the Midlands, Scotland and northern England in the afternoon. Brightr weather may briefly move into Ireland, although heavier showers return from the west for the afternoon. BY evening it should become brighter in western Scotland.
And that takes us into a fairly unsettled start to the new week. Eastern coastal areas will be cloudy with periods of rain and will be cold. Further west it should be brighter with sunny spells and showers, but drier in western Ireland.
Whatever the weather keep the sun shining!

Another Classic

Another classic in the Fusions history happened today. The top of the league and unbeaten Torrun were the hosts to this fixture.
A Fusion team riddled with injuries lined up 10 30 to a 10 man Torrun, although Torrun with lesser players, took total control and with The Daggers taking a nap - Tommo hit a 25yarder that hit the underside of the crossbar and left Grant flying hopelessly 1 nil Torrun.
It took Torrun's 11 player to show before Fusion actually woke and then started pressing our opponents, Half time 1-0.
Half time chat The Daggers knew a result cud come, but a slight setback when TROYs mis timed tackle gave Torrun a pen and a 2 nil lead.
With 30 mins left The Daggers didn't give up Shaun's aka fatboy cheeky flick left twoey with a left foot banga top corner from 25yards out 2-1.
Fusion's ever pressing attack taking the ball out to the wing, Glenn getting a cross with the newly signed Daks smashing the equaliser from 10 yards 2 all game on.

Still with 15 mins and an all out attack, The Daggers playing some good passes on the soaked surface Daks received the ball and clinically smashed a top left corner over the keeper giving Fusion the lead and eventually the 3 points.
The game was excellent and the effort even more, beaten the league leaders in this manner was truly amazing and hopefully this will spur the lads on after the abysmal start.

Well done The Daggers

3 points in the Prem

Fusion's 1st ever 3 points in the Premier Division was won today, an out of form Fusion that’s been firing blanks playing half hearted and conceding sloppy goals finally started working for each other and getting results and points that we thoroughly deserve.

The Daggers old ways of having the unusual poor performance and still walking away with the 3 points would be happily accepted in the Premier Division but definitely does not happen.

Well Fusion back to basics approach had to be kicked into gear once a 1 point from a possible 9 was earned.

With a change of tactics and most of all change of attitude we was looking to get a gritty draw or possibly snatch a winner, and that’s what we done.

With a tough game against our old rivals Bromfords in OUR Charity Cup going 1 nil down put us in the right frame of mind, and there on we went for it.

Last week beating Bromfords 2-1 then today going to Reecon more importantly the 3 points were available; Reecon started fast and definitely wanted to keep there good run of results up. But of course a tough fought 1 nil win with 10 players kept the Daggers v happy and looking forward to taking our confidence and form to Runwell Raiders

Frypa Truly Christened

Fusion excellent new stadium & pitch has seen a great start to our new seasons, with Torrun B thumping Fusion B 7-2 and Torrun A beating Fusion A 3-2 the Frypa has been truly christened.

Punished on Premday

A great welcome to the premiership for Fusion A this week when Fusion lost there first league game in over two years, it was a sad day of fireing blanks not finishing 1 on 1s and now with the opposition Torrun being of the highest quality we have been punished. Its a massive kick up the arse, training will be tougher than ever this week and our opposition are gonna wish they were in a different division - Role on Sunday.

1st victims of premier league

brand new Rettendon couldn't field a team against Bowers last week and unbelievably folded without playing a single game. Ten teams in the premier now.

Premier Div Battle

The first game against Runwell V Reecon was an exciting start to the season. With both teams looking like they would score at any time, Reecon showed they had an edge over Runwell beating them 4-3 and now top of the league. Reecon's fast attacking pace is something to keep an eye on, but some sloppy defending will be punished when the Daggers future fixture takes place.

Triple Champions

An excellent season just got better, with a great performance against Armada Fusion won 3-nil in the Charity Cup Final. With the league already won, and a 2 nil victory over Winston in the div cup final Fusions now crowned Triple Champions!

League Cup Winners

A tough day at Bowers where the hard bobberly ground disabled a descent dispaly of football in the League Cup Final. Fusion done enough to seal there 5th trophy in 3 seasons; one step closer to the Triple.

Triple Is On!

Already Champions Fusion have got Winston Rangers in the League Cup Final (May 3) and Now in the Final of the Charity Cup (May 17). Already its been a fantastic season but can the Famous FFC do the Triple?

Nicholas Wybacks

5 years ago Fusion played Wybacks and lost 10-1 obviously times change but the fixture happened once again but this time in the Semi Final of the Charity Cup. Fusion gave Wybacks a lot of respect because of there reputation and didn't they deserve it. It was a game where you had to take your chances and you would be playing in the final. Fusion were quite comfortable in the 1st half with a 1 nil lead from Glenn super composed goal only with 2 mins of the half to go then the Wybacks struck. 2nd half was quite equal until Gaffer put Fusion 2-1 up then Wybacks making some subs and taking the game to us. Grant pulled off a couple of great saves but under pressure Fusion broke and 10mins before time Mr Allen scored a left foot banger from 25yds clipping the post. Every players was equally excellent and done a super job. Well done Daggers!!

CHAMPIONS!

Once again the Daggers have taken the title! Without a loss and one single draw to Reecon Fusion have taken the title early. Its been a tremendous season and a pleasure working with the lads. Now two semi finals coming up; Crack on lads.

Castlemayne V Fusion B

Well the Castlemayne haven't lost in the Bas Sunday league after the Fusion B went down 2-0 in the first half the lads said this one's over lets concentrate on the next game and lost 4-nil. Thats what they did and in the second match Fusion B was all over the Castlemayne and beat them 2-nil. Supposingly there was a loud mouth fool with the Castlemayne, but today we believed he was just a FOOL. Well done Fusion FC

Success All Round

The Famous FFC Smashed both Talwin and Wickford in both Q Finals of our Divisional Cups. Fusion A 8 goal thumping of Talwin with 5 different scorers, and Fusion B 3-2 victory as Ben Elmores 1st half Hat Trick seals the success of both teams reaching the semis. As both Fusion's are starting to reach there peaks in performances, Bring on the Bromfords! Bring on the Southfields!

Triumph Folds

Triumph have finished up this season early, all the points taken from Triumph will be deleted from existing records.

2008's Delight

Its been a great day and a awesome year, Fusion A+B managed maximum points once again and Fusion A has not lost a league game throughout 2008! Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

Max Points

A excellent weekend for Fusion, A team beat W Laindon 5-1 and got our 3 points. The B team beat Wickford 5-2 and got there 1st ever win and 3 points. Fusion take 6 points Well done to our Fusioneers!

Record Breaking

After our astonishing performance last week that knocked us out of the Essex Cup. Fusion with fixture against our bottom of the division side. The lads went out with only the thought of bouncing back from our defeat from the previous week. Its started off with Fusion not taking a couple of chances but going 1 nil up after about 20 mins. Then the slaughter went ahead with midfield smashing goals from all angles, after the game I don’t think anyone new the result apart from the ref . 19-Nil Fusion’s new record breaking win previously 13-0 to Essex Royals last season.

League Cup Draw

Fusion A v Talwin, Fusion B v Wickford

Fusion B win there 1st point

A good 1 all draw see Fusion B get there 1st ever point. There opposion Langdon Wanderers played well but I think the lads believed they deserved all 3. Well Done and let the points roll in!

Fusion A Triumph over

The first league game was not looking good. With only 11 players fit and ready 5 others injured it was unfortunate to hear Sunday morning that we have lost another player to his job and we would start with only 10. The Fusioneers knew that we could get a result if we played out of our skins so that's what we set off to do. We won the game 6-1 even scoring an own goal. Another shocking injury left us with 9 players with 15mins to go, its looks like Mitchell will be out 6-8 weeks now another on our dreaded injury list. Just a massive Well Done that was a special performance and there's an excellent team spirit keep it up! Gaffer

2008/9 Latest Fixtures R In

Goto Fixtures.

Fusion 2 - 1 Leigh Utd

Fusion A was at Cupids Country Club yesterday, with 5 injuries we had to call upon 4 Fusion B players which already played 90 mins earlier that day. Giving Leigh Utd the respect they deserve they were a well-organised athletic opposition, probably the best pre season team this year. With 2 excellent goals and once again conceding a penalty we were happy with the result, but delighted with individuals performances and efforts.
